OLD TESTAMENT

Deuteronomy 19:1-20:20: In Deuteronomy 20, we find the instructions of warfare. Notice in Deuteronomy 20:8 how fear in one can affect others. 2 Timothy 1:7 states, “God has not given us a spirit of fear but power, love, and a sound mind.” When attacked by the spirit of fear, cast it out!!! (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

Psalm 38:1-8: You are reading about the spiritual, mental, and physical results of sin but remember Romans 6:11-14.

PROVERBS

Proverbs 12:23-25: Working hard pays off!!!!  Proverbs 12:25 gives the cure for depression.

NEW TESTAMENT

Luke 4:31-44: With authority and power He heals and cast out demons!!! He has given us that same authority and power!!!! (Luke 10:18-19; Mark 16:14-20)
