Old Testament
Psalms
Psalm 95:6-11: Israel saw His acts but did not know His ways. Seeing is not always believing. They were blessed coming out of Egypt but didn’t want to intimately know Him like Moses. Therefore, they were easily deceived and constantly turning away from Him for their own pleasures. They wanted to walk in their own ways and the ways of the world instead of God’s ways and it cost them dearly!!!!
You can go to church and see God do signs, wonders, and miracles but still not be obedient to Him or walk in His ways. The price you will eventually pay is too great, so walk in His ways on a daily basis. Ephesians 5:1-21 tells us how to walk in His ways. Notice how many times the word ‘walk’ is used.
