Genesis 39:1-40:23: Joseph is faced with a major decision that comes from a temptation. His boss’s wife wants to have sex with him. He could address this from a victim’s mentality but he doesn’t. He could have said, “If anyone deserves this it would be me. I was rejected, scorned, and sold out by my brothers. No one will know and it could benefit me.”
No!!! He did just the opposite because he knew that this would be wrong with God and that God would see all that would happen. Even though he was a victim, he would not sin against God.
Genesis 39:9 tells us how Joseph lived his life and how we should react to any temptation. Make the right choices and God will bless you in the end. God’s timing is always in His hands, He will not let you down!!!!
Psalm 10:1-11: Don’t let the wicked and ungodly influence you. They pay a tremendous price in the end.
Proverbs 4:1-6: Fathers who love their children will always take the time to instruct them.
Matthew 13:31-58: These verses contain great nuggets. Notice in Matthew 13:53-58 that Jesus could not do many miracles even though He desired to. Don’t let unbelief stop God from blessing you. Keep your faith at a high level. How do you do that? Read Romans 10:17.
Many of you are taking classes on Wednesday evening. You are preparing yourselves to walk by faith. Keep going and don’t quit. You will be blessed!!!
