Genesis 47:1-48:22: You have read many scriptures in Proverbs about the blessings of getting wisdom. Look at the wisdom given to Joseph during a time of economic recession and depression.
God will give you the same wisdom during economic tough times, but notice that his family was blessed and taken care of also. Never view a hard economic time through the eyes of the world. Continue to focus on God and His Word. He has committed Himself to take care of you. Continue to give and you will continue to prosper (2 Corinthians 9:6-11; Psalm 34:6-10).
Psalm 13:1-6: The Psalmist begins by thinking that the Lord has left him and he is grieving day by day because of a lingering attack of the enemy. But in verses 5-6 he changes his outlook and his confession. He begins to sing when doesn’t feel like singing and he begins to prophesy the goodness of God that he believes he will receive.
We all face difficult times and wonder if God is still here. “Has He heard my prayer?” The answer is ‘Yes’ and He will rescue you. Hold on; He’s coming!!!!!
Proverbs 4:18-19: Stay on that path of righteousness.
Matthew 15:21-39: This woman of Canaan was relentless even though it seemed that Jesus was ignoring her and the disciples were irritated at her persistence. But nothing could stop her from receiving her blessing. Her faith would not take no for an answer. She pursued and climbed over every obstacle and received her desire. Don’t ever give up believing!!!!! (Mark 11:24)
Jesus was always moved with compassion, but the disciples saw the crowds as an inconvenience. Jesus is always ready to heal and bless people, how do you see people? Again, take what you have and give to Jesus to bless the multitudes and He will always multiply your seed back to you.
