Old Testament

Exodus 3:1-4:31: When God calls us, we always see ourselves as lacking and insufficient to carry out His plans and purposes. But look at 1 Corinthians 1:26-31 and Philippians 2:13, 4:13. Our ability and potential is God living in us!!! Why did God call us? Because there are still people who are being oppressed by the kingdom of darkness. We have been called and commissioned by our Lord (Mark 16:15-18).

Psalms

Psalm 16:1-6: Verse 4 gives us good instruction of why we serve the one and only true God.

Proverbs

Proverbs 5:1-6: If you’re married, don’t forsake the wife of your youth. Keep the flame burning for each other. Be careful what and who you look at. Single? Keep your eyes and your heart guarded until God brings the right one. Divorced? We have a great Wednesday Night Discipleship Class for you; check it out. Remember, God has great plans for you, and you are of great value to the Kingdom and to us.

New Testament

Matthew 18:1-20: Our attitude toward God is one as a little child, but we mature so we can help others.

Matthew 18:6-7: It’s very dangerous to be the influence that causes others to sin.

Matthew 18:11: That is our focus and number one goal for the Church of Jesus Christ. All we do and give is for the purpose of ministry.

Matthew 18:19-20: Powerful results of the prayer of agreement.
