Deuteronomy 23:1-24:22: God turned the curse of Balaam into a blessing for the Israelites because He loved them. How much more for us in the New Covenant, Jesus became a curse for us so the blessing of Abraham would come upon us (Galatians 3:10-14).
Look what God required for the army to be victorious against their enemies. Now compare that with 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1 that applies to us as the army of Christ.
It is a serious thing with God to make a vow to Him and not fulfill it (Deuteronomy 23:21).
Psalm 39:1-6: Hung by the tongue!!!! (James 3:2-12) We must fill our heart with the Word of God because out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Only a tongue yielded to the Holy Spirit will bring blessing.
Luke 5:17-39: The religious folk were in the presence of Jesus and the power of God was there to heal them but none of them were healed. Why? They didn’t believe Him and had no faith, but the men who brought their friend had faith and their friend was forgiven and healed.
