Old Testament
Numbers 15:1-16:50: Notice how many times it states that the offerings to the Lord are, “a sweet aroma to the Lord.” Now look and read Philippians 4:17-20 about our offerings in the New Testament.
In Numbers 16 we find the danger of coming and speaking against God’s delegated authority. Those who lead others against God’s appointed authority and cause division, will be judged by God Himself (1 Corinthians 1:10; Romans 16:17-18).
God is for unity, submission, and obedience to His delegated authority. For those who do this, repentance before God is a must and a life-saver.
Psalms
Psalm 32:1-5: Look at the result of sin in his physical body and look at the cure: repentance.
Proverbs
New Testament
Mark 11:1-19: God’s house is to be a house of prayer!!!!
