Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire
Facilitator: Pastor John Adderley
Location: Bldg. A, Room 202
God’s calling His people back to their first love. In the book, Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire, Pastor Jim Cymbala challenges believers to press into an intimate, growing, relationship with Christ through intentionally sustained prayer. God is moving mightily; and wind represents the Holy Spirit’s guidance and partnership. It’s His sustained power that keeps us moving forward in His plans and purposes. Fire represents God’s desire to fill and transform His people with real wisdom and knowledge to change and align our hearts with His. The message is simple: we need to stop focusing on unimportant things and come back to seeking God’s heart. When we do this, God will set a burning fire in our heart as we experience His mercy, power, passion, and love- just as we did the first time.
