Marriage and Family Classes:

Family Matters

Facilitators: Dan & LaVika Shull
Location: Bldg. A, Fellowship Hall

God’s design for the family does matter. Through it we come alive to our God-given, multi-generational purpose and become the foundation of a successful society. Every family ends up somewhere, but very few end up somewhere on purpose.

This course begins with establishing the importance of having a Family ID (Intentional Direction) through which we become a purpose-driven family. Next, the course delves into the matters of the family including parenting. God has chosen parents to be the primary instruments in the shaping of a human soul. And while parenting is hard, there are few things that rise to this level of importance.

Join us as we journey through the Bible to discover a different and better way to parent with specific application for children 0-5, 6-12, and 13-18. You will begin to intentionally lay a foundation that will help ensure success in your most important ministry — your family! No matter what season of life your family is in, come discover the significance and importance of your unique family ID.

School of Ministry Class:

Progressive Revelation

Facilitator: Pastor David Mosher
Location: Bldg. B, Main Sanctuary

Who is God? How do we know God exists? How do we know the Bible is God’s Word? What is sin and where did it come from? What is the Trinity? How is Jesus fully God and fully man? What is the meaning of the Cross? Is our salvation eternally secured? What are spiritual gifts? When and how will Christ return?

In Ephesians 4:14 the Apostle Paul addressed the serious need for the Disciple of Jesus Christ to study and understand correct Bible doctrine: “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine.”

You don’t need to have had several years of Bible School to reap the full benefits of Bible doctrine and theology. In this class, you will study all the essential teachings of the Christian Faith in a way that is easy to understand–and the class is packed with solid, biblical answers to your most important questions.  You will also study and understand the Statement of Faith of Covenant Love Church.
