Hello Covenant Love Family,
We had an amazing time last Sunday with The Lord as we concluded our series on “Burning from the House” with Mama Tava sharing on the baptism of the Holy Spirit, “First Love Fire.” Our relationship with the Holy Spirit is a friendship that the Father gifted us through Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is our Helper, Comforter, and Counselor. He leads us into all truth and is the One Who guides us and brings God’s Word to our remembrance when we need it. Jesus said He would not leave us as orphans but send us the gift from the Father: The Holy Spirit.
John 14:15-17 [ESV]
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be
with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot
receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he
dwells with you and will be in you.
At the end of the service, there was an invitation to those who had not received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and those who needed a fresh infilling. Many responded to the altar call, and the Holy Spirit transformed their lives! We thank God for all whose lives have been touched by this series, and we trust that God will continue to speak to our hearts about the importance of revival starting in the home!

This Sunday, August 7th, we’ll gather for a special time of worship to celebrate communion and pray for the sick. If you join us online, prepare your crackers or bread and juice to take communion with us. If you or someone you know needs a touch from God, please invite them to join you on campus or online. We believe in God to do the miraculous!

Covenant Love is a Generous CHURCH!
THANK YOU for worshiping God with your generosity in giving your tithes and offerings. Pastor Cameron shared last week that whenever we walk in seasons in our world, as we are now with recession and economic difficulty, there are people who would say that right now is a good time to stop giving or being generous. But he told us that thought is considered the counsel of the ungodly. The counsel of God’s Word says to look inward when hard times come. The counsel of the Word of God is to look outward to give when hard times come.
Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
THANK YOU for being a GENEROUS church!
